Pianist and international concert artist with a rich discography awarded by specialized critics. Professor of historical pianos and performance practice of classical and romantic repertoires at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel and at the Hochschule in Bern.

Edoardo Torbianelli is currently one of the leading European experts in the aesthetics and piano technique related to literature of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

He was teacher in the Master “interprétation des musiques anciennes – recherche et pratique ” at the Sorbonne University of Paris from 2014 to 2020 and “Artist in residence” from 2014 to 2018 at the “fondation Abbaye de Royaumont” (France), where he hosts seminars, courses and concerts.

Active in the field of improvisation and composition in historical styles, he has published for the Swiss editor BIM.
